Bond Oversight Committee Meeting - September 2026​​

Comfort ISD's planning committee met to look at renderings of softball and baseball fields. The committee carefully selected colors and designs to flow with Comfort ISD's schools and school community identity.

Schematic Design Meeting - September 2026 

CISD held a collaborative Schematic Design Meeting today with school representatives, the architect team, and Board member representatives. The district is expected to break ground on the CTE building in the summer of 2027.

Bond Oversight Committee Meeting - August 2026​​

At the Bond Oversight Committee meeting, Dr. Munoz gave an overview of what we have accomplished so far, and our new Director of Finance, Jake Smiley, explained the Bond Sale process and the success of it.

 

Todd Lewis, from Cumming Gallagher, and Larry Thayn, CISD Board Trustee, reviewed the plans for Altgelt. Todd informed the committee that early September would bring the start of turf at the baseball and softball fields. Raul Llanas from Pfluger presented the current renderings of the CTE building.
